This is how human race survive

Joey and I were sitting on the couch reading a book. All of a sudden, out of the blue, he gives me a big hug and a kiss and says "mommy, I love you", then a short pause, and says "Mommy, I miss you". Of course, this totally melts my heart.

I figured this is how they manipulate you so you will slave over for them, wake up in the middle of the night when they cry, wipe their bottoms, and clean up their vomits. If they weren't so cute, who in the world would sign up for a job like this.

A New Morning, A New Hairdo

Joey has had a full head of hair since the day he was born. And each morning, he wakes with a new and unique hair style.

How to dicipline a 2 year old?

Jacob: Mom, Joey just hit me, give him a timeout.

Mom: Joey, please apologize to Jacob, tell Jacob I am sorry.

Joey: ...

Mom: Joey, please say I am sorry Jacob for hitting you.

Joey: I am not talking.

Mom and dad looked at each other, trying really hard at this point to keep a straight face.

Mom: Joey, do you want a timeout?

Joey: No mommy, I don't want a timeout.

Mom: Then apologize to your brother.

Joey: I am sorry Jacob.

I have a temper just like my auntie Joanna

Jacob was laying on his stomach on the floor playing with his toy cars. Joey decides to walk by and step on him.

Jacob: Ouch!

Joey kicks Jacob.

Joey: Jacob, move out of the way!!

Jacob moves over.

Joey keeps kicking Jacob.

Joey: MOVE Jacob!

Jacob: I did Joey!

Joey keeps kicking.

My poor Jacob. This reminds me of many childhood scenes I have with my own sister.
