Good Thing I am not an Only Child

Jacob woke up this morning around 7:00 a.m. and as usual, he climbed into my bed. I was really tired this morning, so here's the conversation that took place:

Mom: Go play in the playroom.

Jacob: Mom, I just got here and you want me to go play already.

Mom: I am really tired this morning and I need to sleep a little bit more.

Jacob: I don't want to play by myself, it's sad.

Say Cheese

Aloha VS Micky

Yesterday, Joe and I were on the phone with United Airline trying to book our flights to Hawaii. Jacob was listening and getting upset.

Jacob: Mommy, what are you doing to us?

Mom: We are planning a vacation to Hawaii.

Jacob: I don't want to go to Hawaii.

Mom: Why? We will have lots of fun in Hawaii, there's the beach and swimming pools.

Jacob: There are volcanos in Hawaii.

Mom: The active volcano in Hawaii is on the big island and we are not going there.

Jacob: I don't want to go to Hawaii, I want to go to Disneyland.

Jacob is a Good Boy!

This weekend, the kids made a big mess in the playroom, so I ask them to cleanup. Both kids were doing a great job cleaning up. So I told Jacob that he was a good boy for cleaning up and I told Joey that he was a good boy also. After a few minutes, I looked over at Jacob and he had a really sad look on his face. I asked him what's wrong? He started crying and said, mom, you only told me once that I was a good boy, but you told Joey three times that he was a good boy.

So I told him "Jacob is a good boy for cleaning up." He replies "and Joey too!"

I Thought this was Pretty Funny

Jacob: Mommy, guess what?

Mom: Yes Jacob?

Jacob: Today, in school, I saw a book without any pictures on it. I flip through the pages and there were no pictures!

Mom: Really Jacob?

Jacob: Yes, it was so funny.

Sometimes Children are too Honest and Curious

Jacob: Mommy, why do you have brown spots on your face?

Mom: :~(

New update: I went out and bought a really expensive anti-aging facial mask.

Ohhh Ahhh #2

Joey: Mommy, I have to go poop.
Mom: Okay, let's go.
Joey: I want to use the toilet, I am a big boy now, I can use the toilet, not the potty.
Mom: Yes, Joey, you are a big boy now.

I help him get onto the toilet.

Joey: Mommy, let's play ohhh ahhh.

Mom: :-0
