Joey's New Logic
This conversation took place yesterday morning when I was leaving for work. It was a nice day, not a cloud in the sky:
Mom: Bye Bye Joey, mommy is leaving for work now.
Joey: No mommy! I don't want you to
Mom: Joey, mommy has to go to work.
Joey: No mommy, you can't go out my door, it's raining outside.

Micky Mouse Shirt

This conversation took place this morning when Jacob was getting dressed:
Mom: Jacob, do you want to wear your new Micky Mouse shirt?
Jacob: I want to wait until we go to Disneyland to wear that shirt.
Mom: By the time we go to Disneyland again, this shirt will be too small.
Jacob: Then we should go to Disneyland today!
Jacob and Joey's Trip to Roaring Camp Railroads in Santa Cruz

Our family took a trip to Santa Cruz's Roaring Camp Railroads on Sunday so the kids can ride on a real old fashioned steam train. Jacob and Joey we both so excited to be on the train. Here's my little conversation with Jacob while we were on the train. The train ride started at 12:30 p.m. We haven't had lunch yet.
Mom: Jacob, do you want some lunch?
Jacob: No, I am too excited to eat right now.
Later that night, when I was getting Jacob ready for bed.
Jacob: Why did the steam come out of the train?
Mom: hmmm
Jacob: Why was there a big puff of smoke that came out of the train when the train starts and stops?
Mom: hmmm
Jacob: Mom, tell me more about the train?
Mom: hmmm
This is mom trying to change the subject...
Mom: Jacob, did you have a fun day today?
Jacob: Mom, we are talking about the train right now.
