Daddy the Choo Choo Train

Funny Faces

Jacob and Joey were trying to make funny faces in the beth tub. We thought it was pretty funny.

You Belong to Me

Joe carried Joey into our room this morning and Joey gave me a big hug. I asked Joey, who is that?

Joey says, "that's daddy." So I asked him "who are you?"

Joey says "I am Joey." Then out of the blue, he annoced "Jacob belongs to daddy."

"Oh really Joey?" I asked him "Who does Joey belong to?" He replies "I belong to Mommy!"

Bike Me

We decided that it was time to teach Jacob how to ride a bike without training wheels. To prepare him for the experience, we first took off the training wheels and the petals on the bike. So he can just practice balancing on the bike. Two days later, we put the peddles back on. We were prepared to have to coax him on the bike and hold him up as he tried to balance on his bike.

So as we put his helmet and all the pads on him, thinking that he will be scared. Jacob just got on the bike and took off. He fell in about 2 feet, got up and took off again. Joe had to run after him since Jacob was going so fast. So much for all of our preparation.

I didn't learn how to ride a bike until I was 12 years old. I remember my neighbors laughed at me since I still had training wheels on. So I guess Jacob didn't take after his mom.

Mom: Hi Joey, my small and cute baby. I have two small and cute baby, you and Jacob.

Joey: No, he's not.

Mom: Yes, Jacob is small and cute too.

Joey: No, I am small and cute.

Mom: And what about Jacob?

Joey: He is not.

Mom: Okay, is Jacob medium and cute?

Joey: Yes, Jacob is medium and cute.

This One I Will Definitely Save for Jacob to Read Later

So this conversion started when Jacob was laying on top of me.

Mom: Jacob, you have to get off of mommy now, you are too heavy.

Jacob: Laughs

Mom: You are getting so big now, it hurts when you lay on top of me.

Jacob: I am almost at tall as you mommy.

Mom: Yes, you are growing so fast.

Jacob: When I am an adult, I will be a daddy too, then we will have two daddies.

Mom: Well, you can only have one daddy. But you can be daddy to another baby.

Jacob: Will Joey be my baby?

Mom: No, you will have your own baby.

Jacob: I can't have a baby, only mommy can have a baby.

Mom: True, but you will find your own wife and have a baby.

Jacob: Hmm, I don't want to.

Mom: Why?

Jacob: I want you to find a wife for me.
