Jacob started Kindergarden on August 21, so a little over three weeks. On Tuesday, Joe gets a call from Ms. Lin, Jacob's teacher to discuss Jacob's behavior. Ms. Lin told Joe that Jacob is not paying attention is school and he is testing her limits. She requested that we have a meeting.
Okay, this was not a big surprise for us. We've had the same meetings and same conversations with his pre-school teachers. What was surprising is that it's only been three weeks. I am expecting many more of the same conversation with Jacob's teachers.

Is he bored? Maybe the stuff is too easy for him.
Yeah, that was how I felt during my schooling years. Everything was just too easy.
Well, the are learning alphabets and colors again, which he already knows. So I am sure he is bored. The problem is that Jacob will not sit still and listen when he is bored. He will find a way to entertain himself.
