Wushu

Jacob's school offers some after school enrichment program. We signed him up for Wushu and Chinese songs. I told Jacob the day before his Wushu class that we signed him up for a Kong fu class. He got really upset with me and started crying.

Jacob: Mom, I didn't want you to do that, I don't want to take the class. This is the second time you signed me up for something without telling me.

(we signed him up for soccer a few weeks ago, and he got upset too)

So Friday after school, Jacob got home and was so excited.

Jacob: Mom, mom, guess what? We did wushu today, we had to kick all the way up to our heads and we learned to punch. It was so much fun.

Mom: I thought you didn't want to take the class?

Jacob: I didn't know that's what you do, I really like it.

Mom: Are you sure? Do you want to go next week? We can always cancel.

Jacob: I really like it, I want to go.

Mom: Okay, by the way, I signed you up for Chinese song too!
